Pakistan intelligence agent held

LUCKNOW: An alleged agent of Pakistan’s Military Intelligence, Abdul Jabbar alias Sikandar, was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad at the Charbagh railway station here on Tuesday.

A map of Lucknow’s military cantonment and some secret documents pertaining to the Central Command headquarters here, apart from fake currency, were seized from him, the police said.

Abdul Jabbar had entered the State from Nepal four or five days ago and reached Lucknow via Gorakhpur. Son of Mooosa, he is a resident of Kharadar in Karachi.

The ATS also seized from him a photocopy of the passport carrying the address: Makarpura, Majalpur Road, Vadodara, Gujarat. In the passport, Abdul Jabbar’s name was mentioned as Jabbar, son of Ibrahim, The address was found to be fake, Additional Director-General (Law and Order and STF) Brij Lal told journalists here on Wednesday.
