Airtel launches Tamil voice portal

CHENNAI: Airtel on Tuesday launched a Tamil voice portal as a value-added service for users in the State, who can listen to music, jokes and dialogues of their favourite comedians or wise up to a quote from the Thirukkural.
The portal, for which content has been developed by On Mobile, comes for a monthly rental of Rs.15 and a call tariff of Re.1 a minute.
Users can dial 52222 from anywhere in Tamil Nadu to access ‘Airtel Ungal Choice.’
Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja, who launched the portal, said music was the only universal language.
