Sanskrit university to focus on research

KOCHI: Cases were registered against 127 persons and Rs. 39,921 was realised as fines from persons found travelling without valid tickets during a joint combing done by the Railway Protection Force, Railway Police and the commercial wing of the Southern Railways. Checks were done in trains operating in Ernakulam-Alappuzha, Ernakulam-Kottayam and Ernakulam-Thrissur sectors on Monday. The checks were done as part of a special drive.
