Polio vaccine to be given on December 21

KRISHNAGIRI: National Pulse Polio Immunisation programnme will be held in Krishnagiri district on December 21 and February 1, Collector V.K. Shanmugam said here on Monday.
About 2 lakh children will be administered drops in 951 centres in 10 unions, and two municipalities in the district.
About 3,900 field staff will be entrusted the job of administering the drops to children.
The vaccine would be administered to children at all the PHCs, Sub PHCs, Government Hospitals, noon meal centers and bus stands from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
