Jewellery stolen

NAMAKKAL: A few unidentified persons had stolen 33 sovereigns of jewellery and Rs. 39,000 from a house here on Monday night.

Police said Thiagarajan, a lorry operator, found the doors of his house open and the jewellery missing. He also found Rs. 39,000 missing from the house. He registered a complaint with the Namakkal police.
