Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, APSRTC Krishna Regional Manager A. Koteswara Rao said that the special tour package would be useful for the pilgrims in visiting all the three temples in a single day. Buses would start from all 12 depots in Krishna region at 10 p.m. and return on the following day. ChargesWhile the charges for travel by super luxury bus would be Rs. 575 for adults and Rs. 300 for children, it would cost Rs. 500 and Rs. 250 for adults and children, respectively, in deluxe buses. Travel by express buses would cost Rs. 450 and Rs. 225 for adults and children, he said, adding that the special package would be in vogue till January 14, 2009. Another packageThe APSRTC had made preparations for trouble-free darshan for the passengers in all the temples. Another package covering another set of Vaishnavite temples – Bhadrachalam, Vedadri and Jamalapuram – would be announced shortly, he said, pointing out the present special package was being offered in view of the good response received to the earlier tour packages covering Pancharamalu and Sabarimla. Referring to the city services, Mr. Koteswara Rao said four buses from Payakapuram to Kaleswara Rao Market would be operated from Wednesday onwards. These buses were being introduced following a request from the people, and as many as 48 trips between Payakapuram, Kandrika and K.R. Market would be operated in a day. Similarly, number of trips between Vambay Colony and the market would be increased to 16 from the existing 12. Five express city buses would be introduced between Vuyyuru and Vijayawada from Friday onwards. In view of the Bhavani deeksha relinquishment from December 19, the APSRTC Krishna region would press into service 300 additional buses to various destinations. In addition, the APSRTC was expecting 300 to 500 buses from other districts during the Bhavani deekhsa relinquishment period till 24, he said. APSRTC Krishna Region Divisional Managers P. V.
