Aavin seeks government aid

CHENNAI: Three dairy units in the city suffered a total damage of Rs 16 crore due to recent rains. The worst affected of them was the Ambattur Dairy, where the damage is estimated at Rs.10.36 crore. A detailed estimate of the damage was sent to the government seeking assistance.

Dairy Development Minister U.Mathivanan recently visited the Dairy and inspected the affected portions.
