Light rain likely today

Chennai: The Regional Meteorological Centre has forecast cloudy skies and one or two spells of light rain in the city on Tuesday.

A trough of low pressure lies over Sri Lanka and adjoining southwest Bay, weather officials said on Monday. Under its influence, coastal areas of the State are likely to receive rain or thundershowers.
