Motorist killed

A motorcycle rider was killed in an accident on the Musiri–Thuraiyur Road at Perampatti Medu on Sunday. Sooran alias M. Palaniandi (53) was riding towards Thuraiyur from Musiri when a mini goods carrier collided head on with his vehicle. Palaniandi was killed on the spot. The driver of the goods carrier, M. Palani (22), was arrested. The police are investigating.
