Their numbers bring joy, love and faith

TIRUCHI: The entire Parish Hall at the All Saints Church was filled with an air of joy, hope, love and faith on Saturday evening, with a number of persons singing Carols.

The 45-th ‘Carols by Candlelight’ featured the songs ‘Carollers’ march,’ ‘Cradled All Lowly,’ and ‘Song in the air.’

There was also a nice presentation of Tamil Carols’.

The songs on mass singing – ‘O Come all ye faithful,’ ‘While Shepherds’ ‘The Bethlehem Song’ ‘It came upon the midnight,’ ‘Once in royal’ and ‘Silent night’ – made for a perfect mood for those gathered on the occasion.

There was a sense of mourning too. With a candle in their hands, the participants paid their homage to those who were killed in the Mumbai blasts.

The Professor of St. Paul’s Seminary, Rev. Fr. Michael Joe; the Presbyter of All Saints Church, Rev,Jeyakumar Deva; the Chaplain,

Joseph Eye Hospital, Dora Suresh; and the Chief Medical Officer, Paul Gunachander were among those who were present.
