Sonia, Gehlot discuss Cabinet formation

NEW DELHI: Ashok Gehlot, who took charge as Rajasthan Chief Minister for the second time on Saturday, called on Congress president Sonia Gandhi here on Sunday and discussed Cabinet formation.

Later he told journalists that the new Ministers would take oath at the earliest and there was no plan to have a Deputy Chief Minister at the moment. A State government release said Ms. Gandhi congratulated Mr. Gehlot and the people of Rajasthan for the success in the Assembly poll and wished him for better governance.

Earlier on his arrival at the airport here he was received by party MPs, officials and others, including Haryana Governor A.R. Kidwai.
