Contests held for schoolchildren

Vijayawada: Bharata Samskrita Parishat on Sunday conducted competitions in recital of ‘Bhagavad Gita’ for schoolchildren at Patamata, Nunna and Satyanarayanapuram. In all, 225 children participated in the competitions. Those who got first, second and third prizes will take part in the district-level competition to be held at Satyanarayanapuram on December 21 and the winners of the district-level competition will be sent to the State-level competitions to be held at Ongole on December 25, a press release said.
