PANAJI: Andhra was 252 for seven in 90 overs at close of the first day’s play in its last league match against Goa in the South Zone under-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy cricket tournament, here on Friday.

M.U.B. Sriram’s 77 was the highlight of Andhra innings.

The scores: Andhra 252 for seven in 90 overs (M.U.B. Sriram 77, C. Vinod Kumar 56, B. Siva Charan Singh 49 batting, J. Siva Koteswara Rao 40) vs. Goa.

Kerala 150 (Sanju V. Samsow 53, Rahul Bhaskaran three for 12, Baba Aparajeet three for 35) vs. Tamil Nadu 24 for no loss in eight overs.

Karnataka 247 for nine in 91 overs (Shreyas Gopal 79) vs. Hyderabad.
