Swanky: A view of the lounge that was opened at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad on Friday. HYDERABAD: A special arrival lounge with a nap and shower facility for the convenience of air travellers was inaugurated at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad on Friday. FacilitiesPassengers can have a short nap, shower and a quick bite at the lounge. Air travellers can also browse the Internet in the lounge area comprising 28 spa rooms along with self-service buffet counters and bar, besides a business centre, including conference facilities. 35 outletsPlaza Premium Lounge, a lounge management company, which is operating 35 outlets in 11 countries, will be managing the facility. The new lounge was developed in response to customers growing needs for airport facilities aimed at offering passengers a convenient place to relax and freshen up in comfortable environs. “We are planning to open more such facilities at airports in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata,” said Plaza Premium Lounge Chief Executive Officer, Song Hoi See. Two lounges exclusively for domestic and international passengers were already launched on the airport premises.
