Additional District Munsif Court opened in Alandur

TAMBARAM: Madras High Court Judge A.C. Arumuga Perumal Adityan on Friday dedicated the Additional District Munsif Court in Alandur.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that apart from this court, there was also a need for a Sub-Court in Alandur, considering that there 3,500 pending cases in the existing courts in the town.

He also urged the Alandur Municipal authorities, including chairman R.S. Bharathi, to impress upon the State government to speed up the completion of the Combined Court Building in Alandur, the foundation stone for which was laid by former Chief Justice of the Madras High Court A.P. Shah more than a year ago.

L. Yousuf Ali, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Chengalpattu, R.K. Chandramohen, Chairman, Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Mr. Bharathi and advocates of Alandur were present.
