KCR assesses TRS chances

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) president K. Chandrasekhar Rao has invited inputs from party leaders about the prospects of TRS candidate N. Laxman Rao in the election to the State Legislative Council from Adilabad-Karimnagar-

Medak-Nizamabad graduate’s constituency on Sunday.

Interacting with them at a teleconference from TRS office on Friday, Mr. Rao instructed the leaders to make serious efforts to draw graduates to polling stations. A party activist should be posted at every institution and office for the purpose.

He felt the voters could be easily contacted at the places where they were employed as the polling day was not declared a holiday.

Mr. Rao asked former legislator A. Govind Naik to step up efforts to improve the chances of the candidate in Khanapur Assembly segment of Adilabad district.

Legislators T. Harish Rao, Eatala Rajender and Koppula Eashwar presented a bright picture about the party’s performance.

Earlier, Mr. Rao told reporters that the party had received positive response from voters.

He announced presidents of four organs of the party, including Neela Padma (Mahila), Mandula Samuel (SC cell), Mothe Sobhan Reddy (trade union) and C. Narasimha Reddy (retired employees).
