Jeev looks to end with a win

Bangkok: On a roll after winning the Nippon Series JT Cup last week, Asia’s new No. 1 Jeev Milkha Singh will now look to wrap up his record-breaking year with a win at the Volvo Masters of Asia golf starting next week.

“I am going to be there for the Volvo Masters of Asia,” said Jeev, who catapulted to 36th in the World ranking after his triumph in Japan. Jeev was approached by organisers to compete in the South African Open but he instead chose to play in the Volvo Masters of Asia at the Thai Country Club from December 18 to 21. — PTI
