Flights diverted

CHENNAI: Half a dozen flights, including three from Bangalore, were diverted to Chennai following poor visibility conditions at the Bangalore airport on Thursday.

Airport sources said the flights included London – Bangalore British Airways flight and Mumbai – Bangalore Air India, Jet Airways flights.

The other three were cargo flights. The passenger flights took off to Bangalore after 9 a.m. following improvement in conditions in Bangalore. — Special Correspondent
