Rs. 2 lakh solatium demanded

KARAIKAL: Leader of the Opposition in Puducherry Assembly A.M.H.Najim has requested the government to provide Rs. 2 lakh as solatium to the family of four fishermen of Kilinjalmedu and Keezhakasakkudimedu villages. The fishermen drowned at sea while searching for other fishermen reportedly lost, Mr. Najim said, adding that their families should be given the same compensation as given by the TN government for the deceased in the recent rains.
