RTC unions to go on strike from Dec. 22

HYDERABAD: In a bid to avert a two-day strike by National Mazdoor Union from midnight Wednesday, the APSRTC management continued parleys with its representatives till late in the night, even as the Joint Action Committee (JAC) comprising five unions announced an indefinite strike from December 22.

Top functionaries of the management held three rounds of talks with NMU leaders on resolving the main demand for withdrawal of the move to introduce 1,500 Setwin buses.
