40 killed in bus fire

Firozabad: As many as 40 people, including women and children, were killed and 30 seriously injured when the bus in which they were travelling caught fire here on Tuesday. The accident occurred when one of the tyres of the speeding bus burst, resulting in a massive fire, Superintendent of Police, Firozabad, Navneet Kumar Rana said.

There were about 75 to 80 passengers in the bus when the accident happened, Firozabad DM Amit Gupta told PTI over phone.
