Rashien outclasses Pruthvik

BANGALORE: Top seed Rashien Samuel outclassed Pruthvik Nagaraj 6-2, 6-2 while second-seeded Nikhil Reddy humbled Harsh Manjunath 6-2, 6-3 in the KSLTA-AITA Talent Series (under-16) tennis championship at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium courts here on Tuesday.

In the girls’ section, top-seeded Preethi Ujjini beat Sahana Shroff 6-1, 6-1 to advance to the quarterfinals along with Shruthi Prashanth and S.P. Ritu, the second and third seeds.

The results (pre-quarterfinals): Boys: Rashien bt Pruthvik 6-2, 6-2; Nikhil bt Harsha 6-2, 6-3; Rohit Sarwate bt Sai Arukth 7-6(3),6-1; S. Easy for Christ College

Christ College and ASC Centre and College scored identical 5-0 victories over Jyoti Kendriya Vidyalaya (JKV) and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangatana (KVS, respectively in the Rotary Club of Indiranagar and KSFA conducted inter-collegiate football tournament at the Bangalore football stadium here on Tuesday.

RBNMS downed St. Joseph Commerce 4-3 via the tie breaker.
