KOTTAYAM: Host Mount Carmel ‘A’ recorded two wins in the opening day of the 23rd Sr. Virginia memorial all-India inter-school basketball tournament here on Tuesday, Mount Carmel defeated Little Flower HS, Koratty 36-24 and later beat St. Joseph’s HSS, Alappuzha 38-12. Lady Sivaswamy HSS (Chennai) also scored two wins after beating St. Jammas HSS (Malappuram) (38-12) and Cherupushpa HSS (Chandanakampara (25-3).
