Chinese bank gets nod for U.S. branch


BEIJING: State-owned China Construction Bank Corp., the country’s second-largest commercial lender, said Tuesday it has received U.S. Government approval to open its first U.S. branch in New York City. The branch would be its seventh outside mainland China, the bank said in a statement.
