Corrections and clarifications

The last paragraph of a report “Rane supporter in [Maharashtra] Cabinet” (December 9, 2008) said that there are 24 Cabinet Ministers and 13 Ministers of State. It should have been 26 cabinet ministers, as mentioned in the fifth paragraph.

The fourth paragraph of a report “Online dictionary of north-east languages” (“Newscape” page, December 8, 2008) said that in 2007, xobdo.net added multiple interfaces to include 16 more languages spoken in the north-east. One of them was misspelt as Mishing. It should have been Mising, as given in the fifth paragraph. (The Mising Agom Kacbang, which is the literary association of the Mising, spells the name of the community and the language as Mising.)
