Sale of tickets commences

Chennai: The sale of season tickets for the first India-England cricket Test began here on Monday.

The season tickets were sold from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The tickets for specific days will be sold on the day of play.

The TNCA Secretary, K.S. Viswanathan, said, “The TNCA has made catering arrangements in all the stands for the spectators to watch the match comfortably.”

Restrictions have been imposed on bottles and lunch boxes that can be brought by the spectators into the stadium. — Special Correspondent
