Harsh Lakani prevails over Goutham

BANGALORE: Harsh Lakani prevailed over R. Goutham 6-3, 6-7(3), 6-4 in the boys’ singles first round of the KSLTA-AITA Talent Series under-16 tennis championship at Sree Kanteerava Stadium courts, here on Monday.

Important results: Boys singles: First round: Pruthvi Nagaraj bt Abrar Nawaz 6-1, 6-1; S. Raghavendra bt Nikhil Prasad 6-1, 6-4; P.S. Gagan bt Malik Sahil 6-0, 6-0; Harsh Lakani bt R. Goutham 6-3, 6-7(3), 6-4; Rohan Gaonkar bt Rohit Garg 6-1, 6-0; Vikram Naidu bt Deepak Desai 6-0, 6-2; Prajwal Dev bt M.S. Rotary School posts win

Rotary School defeated Anglo Urdu School by seven wickets in the KSCA under-16 inter-school cricket tournament at the Karnataka Gymkhana Ground in Hubli on Monday.

The scores:

Anglo Urdu School 150 in 30.5 overs lost to Rotary School 153 for three in 17.5 overs (Ramachandra Hegde 87 not out).
