Three Indians in top 10

New Delhi: After World record-breaking performances in the recent World Cup finals, Gagan Narang has moved up three places in the men’s 10m air rifle to be sixth in the latest rankings issued by the International Shooting Federation (ISSF).

Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra managed to cling to his second spot even as there was also no change in the leader’s name as China’s Beijing Olympics silver medallist, Zhu Qinan, is at the N0. 1 spot.

Meanwhile, double trap shooter Ronjan Sodhi, who briefly occupied the top spot after winning the World Cup in Belgrade in June with a World record-equalling score, retained the 10th spot. — PTI
