Corporation to hold medical camps at 30 locations today

Chennai: The Chennai Corporation has tied up with three private hospitals to conduct medical camps for the public on Sunday.

The camps would be organised in association with Apollo Hospital, Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Billroth Hospital, at 30 locations between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. People suffering from fever, cold, cough, skin diseases and other ailments, common during the monsoon, would benefit from the camp, a press release said. Free blood testing, ECG, ultrasound scan and cervical cancer screening would also be offered.

The venues are: Sri Sai Vivekananda Vidyalaya, Muthamizh Nagar, Kodungaiyur; Corporation HSS., 540, Tiruvottiyur High Road; Corporation High School, Old Glass Factory Road, Korukkupet; Corporation Middle School, SN Chetty Street; Corporation High School, Manikanda Mudali Street; Kanniga Parameswari College, 1, Audiappa Street; Corporation High School, Kalyanapuram, Vyasarpadi; Government Adi Dravidar Welfare High School, Pulianthope High Road; Corporation Middle School, Wall Tax Road; Corporation Middle School, near Thiru-Vi-Ka Nagar bus terminus; Corporation High School, near Ayanavaram Market; Corporation High School, Chinnababu Street, Nammalwarpet; Corporation Middle School, NSK Nagar, Arumbakkam; Corporation Middle School, Subburaya Gramani Street, MMDA Colony; and Corporation Middle School, N Block, MMDA Colony.

In central and south Chennai, the camps would be held at: Kalyanam Girls HSS, Chintadripet; Corporation Middle School, Dr. Besant Road, Triplicane; Corporation High School, Lloyds Road, Royapettah; Corporation High School, Strahans Road; Corporation High School, 3, Model School Road, Greams Road; Corporation Primary School, Giriappa Road, T. Nagar; Corporation HSS., near Kodambakkam Power House; Corporation HSS., Kaniappa Nagar, Ashok Nagar; Corporation Middle School, Kamaraj Nagar; ECI Matriculation HSS., Ekkaduthangal; St. Francis School, Little Mount; Corporation Middle School, Kamaraj Salai, near Light House; Rani Meyammai Girls HSS, R.K.Mutt Road; and St. Peters Academy, Nethaji Road, Velachery.
