Young World painting contest today

Chennai: The Hindu – Young World on-the-spot painting competition finals for seniors and juniors will be held on Sunday at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School in K.K. Nagar.
All those selected in the preliminary round have been sent individual call letters to attend the finals. The two-hour event will start at 9 a.m.
Participants are required to bring their call letters and be present at the venue at least 30 minutes in advance. The event was to be held on November 30 but was postponed due to inclement weather.
Winners will be awarded the same afternoon. Consolation prizes would also be given.
All winners will get a hamper from confectionery firm Lotte-BooProo, which is the main sponsor of the competition. Lakshmi Krishnamurthy and Sasikaran, the judges for the event, will give away the prizes.
