JSS posts win

HUBLI: JSS High School, Dharwad defeated St. Michael’s HS by a margin of 66 runs in the KSCA under-16 inter-school cricket tournament at the Karnataka Gymkhana ground here on Saturday.

Opting to bat, JSS scored 285 for seven, while St. Michael’s managed only 219 for seven.

The scores: JSS HS 285 for seven in 40 overs (S. Anidurdh 54, B. Aravind 45, Aditya Prabhu three for 22) bt St. Michael’s HS 219 for seven in 40 overs (Vrutin Savanur 77, Satish Gokak 50, S. Praveen three for 36). — Staff Correspondent
