Knife-point robbery

NEW DELHI: Four young men armed with knives allegedly stole artificial and silver jewellery worth Rs.1 lakh from a shop in Laxmi Nagar here on Friday.

Mohammad Tariq, who owns a jewellery shop in Ramesh Park, had gone to offer “namaz” at a mosque in the afternoon leaving his servant behind in the shop.

When he returned, he found the shop ransacked and the jewellery missing. The servant told Tariq that four men entered the shop posing as customers, took him hostage at knife-point and made off with the jewellery.
