INTEC panel for DU polls

NEW DELHI: Demanding that the new pay scales for teachers be announced at the earliest, the Indian National Teachers’ Congress on Friday said that all Readers and teachers in the Reader’s grade should be placed in Pay Band-4.

Candidates

At a press conference here, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president J. P. Agarwal presented the INTEC panel contesting for membership in the Executive Council and the Academic Council of Delhi University. Elections to both the bodies will be held on December 19. The other candidates for the Academic Council are R.S. Dahiya (Sri Aurobindo College), Sanjay Tyagi (Sri Aurobindo College), Sanjay Verma (Kirori Mal College) and Ramesh Kumar (Department of Germanic and Romance Studies).
