Honda pulls out of F-1 competition

TOKYO: Honda, whose team finished next-to-last in the constructors’ standings last season, on Friday announced its withdrawal from Formula One over the global financial crisis, ending an involvement which began in the 1960s. Rubens Barrichelllo and Jenson Button drove for the team in 2008. — AP
