MYSORE: The National Testing Service-India, an undertaking of the Centre for Testing and Evaluation (CT and E) at Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysore, has proposed to develop instruments of evaluation (tools and scales) in all major Indian languages, as a first step before extending to other areas of study. These instruments would be standardised with reference to the populace to be identified across the country through sixty regional field units (RFUs) of National Testing Service-India, with special focus on awarding certificates to candidates who have completed various courses of study.
