NTP gets recognition

Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: The Election Commission has registered the Nava Telangana Party (NTP), floated by rebel TDP leader T. Devender Goud, as a State party of Andhra Pradesh.

Former Minister and NTP general secretary E. Peddy Reddy who said this to mediapersons here on Friday added that the party would reflect the true sentiments of people of Telangana. As the BJP had promised to give Telangana within 100 days of retaining power at the Centre in the ensuing Lok Sabha election, the NTP might consider aligning with the BJP and other NDA partners , he said.
