Fake marks card racket busted
Staff Reporter
BANGALORE: The Chennapatna Police raided two studios on Thursday and unearthed a racket in fake driving licenses and marks cards.
They arrested one person after the raid, sources said.
“We raided Bharat Studio on Parvathi Theatre Road and Arka Studio on Post Office Road and recovered several fake marks cards and driving licences.
“We arrested Shafiullah of Chennapattana,” the sources told The Hindu here on Thursday.
The accused had laminating machines in these studios and he also scanned documents.
Later, he used to sell them to customers by manipulating them, the sources added.
According to preliminary investigation, several people have had their documents forged.
