Employees suspended

TIRUCHI: Two corporation employees have been placed under suspension on charges of negligence of duty and indiscipline.

The two unskilled workers, P.Paulraj and S.Chinnamuthu, who were working in the drinking water overhead tank at Woraiyur in K.Abhishekapuram zone, were placed on transfer to the Kambarasampettai drinking water pumping station. However, the two workers failed to take charge at Kambarasampettai and continued to indulge in irregularities by claiming to be working at Woraiyur. Based on complaints, Commissioner T.T.Balsamy ordered their suspension.
