Four injured in road accident involving two buses, two cars
BANGALORE: Four persons were injured in an accident involving two Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) buses and two cars on B.R.V. Road off Mahatma Gandhi Road here on Thursday.
The incident occurred at the traffic signal. One of the KSRTC buses bound for Chintamani hit another KSRTC bus that was on its way to Tirupati. The impact was such that two cars in front of the bus bound for Tirupati were damaged. The injured were in the bus bound for Chintamani. The driver of the bus bound for Chintamani fled the scene after the accident, the police said.
Mahabaleshwar (40) of Peenya, who was injured, blamed the bus driver for the accident. “He was in an inebriated state,” Mr. Mahabaleshwar said. — Staff Reporter
