Wockhardt gets U.S. FDA nod for Augmentin

MUMBAI: Wockhardt said its U.S. subsidiary, Morton Grove Pharmaceuticals, received U.S. FDA approval to market Augmentin suspension, a paediatric drug. The drug is used to treat several common infections, especially in children. The company intends to launch the product in the U.S in the third quarter of 2009, it said in a statement.
