Deadline extended

NEW DELHI: The deadline for submission of applications for the Central Sector Scheme of scholarships for college and university students for candidates of the Central Board of Secondary Education has been extended to December 31.

The scheme has been introduced by the Union Human Resource Development Ministry to provide financial help to meritorious students from low-income families. As many as 82,000 scholarships will be awarded for graduate/post-graduate studies.
