Naxals call for two-day bandh

BERHAMPUR: Naxals have given a two-day bandh call in Gajapati, Kandhamal and Rayagada districts of south Orissa from Friday in protest against death of a villager of Kutuniganda village under Adaba police station in Gajapati district on Nov. 22 by the bullets of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel.

Posters related to this bandh call allegedly posted by the Naxals were located at Kutuniganda, Nuagaon, Kinarigaon, Kirama areas on border of Gajapati and Kandhamal districts. It may be noted that naxals are observing ‘Peoples Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) week’ from Tuesday.
