HYDERABAD: A division bench of the A.P. High Court comprising Chief Justice A.R. Dave and Justice R. Subhash Reddy on Wednesday admitted a writ petition filed seeking conduct of elections to Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).

The writ petition was filed by Srinivas a practicing advocate. The government pleader for Municipal Administration placed the papers showing the action initiated by the authorities which include door to door to verification of voters. The bench felt that the process has already been initiated and such things can not be hurried.
