BBMP to meet MLAs before putting out draft UAV

Bangalore: The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) will publish the draft Unit Area Value (UAV) for property tax assessment only after holding a meeting of the MLAs and MLCs from the city.

The meeting is likely to be held under the leadership of Transport Minister R. Ashok and Minister for Information Technology and Biotechnology Technology, Excise and Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board Katta Subramanya Naidu.

Meanwhile, the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike Commissioner, S. Subramanya, said that the civic authority would hold a meeting with all the elected representatives from the city before publishing the draft Unit Area Value.

Objections

The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike will give 21 days for the people to submit their suggestions and objections from the date of publication of the draft Unit Area Value.
