Aid distributed

KOCHI: The City Police joined hands with the Lion’s Club to extend support to the needy on World Disabled Day on Wednesday. Monamma Kokkad, governor of Lion’s Club International District 324 E-4, presided over the meeting where 5 kg of rice each was distributed to 250 families. City Police Commissioner Manoj Abraham distributed wheelchairs to physically-challenged persons and Lion’s vice-governor Roy Varghese distributed crutches.
