Girl feared drowned

CHENNAI: A teenager was feared drowned at Aminjikarai here on Wednesday. Police said that N. Divya (13) of Nallamuthu Mariamman Street in Kakkanji Nagar was bathing near the banks of the Cooum River when she suddenly vanished. Fire and Rescue Services Department personnel searched for the girl in the river. The Aminjikarai police are investigating.
