LRDE wins

Bangalore: LRDE (Bangalore) emerged champion in the DRDO South Zone football tournament at the ADE Ground here on Wednesday.

LRDE topped with nine points and defeated runner-up ADE, Bangalore (6 points) 3-1 in its last league match. C. Ashok, Mahendran and Saravana Lokesh scored for LRDE while Arokiaraj scored the lone goal for the loser. Earlier in another match, CVRDE (Chennai) defeated GTRE (Bangalore) 2-1. Shivshankar and Satyanarayana scored for CVRDE while Subash slotted in GTRE’s solitary goal.
