MSSSMS blanks Mt. Abu PS
NEW DELHI: Host S.S. Mota Singh Senior Secondary Model School (MSSSMS) defeated Mt. Abu Public School (Rohini) 7-0 in the senior boys’ section of the 26th S.S. Mota Singh memorial hockey tournament on Wednesday. Amanpreet Singh (3), Jasminder Singh (2), Gyan Singh and Harjot Singh scored the goals.
In the junior boys’ section, Bal Bharati Public School (Pitampura) defeated Delhi Public School (Vasundhara) 3-0, with Anant Singh (2) and Arijit Kapoor doing the scoring.
In another match in the junior event, Modern School (Barakhamba Road) beat the host in the tie-break after the teams were locked 2-2 at the end of the regulation period.
In the girls’ section, Priyanka Anand struck the match-winner as Guru Harkrishan Public School (India Gate) beat Bal Bharati Public School (Pitampura) 1-0.
