AMU in final

ALIGARH: Host Aligarh Muslim University entered the final with a seven-wicket victory over Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University in the North Zone inter-University cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

The scores (semifinals):

Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh, Faizabad 137 in 36 overs (Kunwar Manvendra 53) lost to Aligarh Muslim 138 for three in 30 overs (J.P. Singh 45).

Guru Nanak Dev 183 in 61 overs (Buta Singh 45, Chandrapal Saini five for 51) vs. University of Delhi 63 for three in 14 overs.
