Mumbai posts a huge total
Mumbai: Mumbai amassed a first innings total of 602 for six declared and then took two early wickets of Hyderabad before the visitor recovered poise on the second day of the four-day Ranji Trophy Super League Group ‘A’ match here on Wednesday.
At stumps, Hyderabad was 82 for two wickets. At the crease with an unfinished stand of 76 in 19.5 overs were opener T Suman (40, 90b, 2x6, 3x4) and left-hander Anoop Pai (35, 59b, 8x4).
The scores: Mumbai 602 for six decl. in 151.4 overs (W. Jaffer 256, A. Rahane 137, A. Agarkar 77 n.o., S. Bahutule 40 n.o.; Arjun four for 99) vs. Hyderabad 82 for two in 28 overs (T. Suman batting 40).
